The geometry in these pages is a sacred geometry, one that can explain the creation of the universe with abstract, yet precise and clear images which our minds can comprehend. This is not ordinary geometry in the sense that it is derived differently.

For example, try to create a pentagon or five sided enclosure with the sides of equal length utilizing only a compass and a straight edge! Notice, I did not say ruler. No measurements are allowed. All measuring has to be derived internally through the proportions of the generative principles at work in sacred geometry. The background image on my Favorites page gives a clue how this may be done. See, if you can do it and let me know.

Contemplating the structure of the universe and its causality through such exercises has been one of the ways that the mystery schools try to impart their wisdom to seekers. Instead of telling or showing them, by doing them oneself, one can gain the awareness, that otherwise will stay illusive. This wisdom is then said to bring the kind of inner rewards and bliss they promote.

I do not grasp these teachings sufficiently to teach more about them here. If you like though, see whether you can recreate some of the patterns I have shown you.
